The Durand Family Year-End Update - 2004

| First-of-all,
everyone is healthy and happy. Read on to find out how our year has
been. Sydney[pictures] turned 4 on October 30 and is going to preschool now at the local Methodist church. Her favorite thing seems to be visual art 
  Sierra [pictures] turned one on
November 10. She is a very musical girl and was an early walker. She is
a very busy little girl around the house and goes to day care at the
same Methodist church as Sydney.  Both girls have enjoyed time we have spent at Disneyland since getting passes for our family in honor of Kristen's Birthday.  Kristen
continues to take CB Richard Ellis by storm. She has moved into
the position of Marketing and Information Manager for the Orange County
region (see her company
bio here). In her rare free moments she is, of
course, spending time
with her family.Ross [pictures] has been overextended, as usual. In May he completed his Master of Arts in Teaching Science degree at Cal State Fullerton. He'd be happy to e-mail his thesis to any interested masochists.  Ross
spent some time
at Arrowbear Music Camp, but less than usual. Ross continues to teach
science at Rancho Alamitos High School where he also serves as
department chair and spent the last year-and-a-half preparing for the
schools visit from an accreditation committee from the Western
Association of Schools and Colleges. the visit appears to have been a
smashing success, with results on the school's accreditation term due
back in February. Ross still occasionally gets time for musical
pursuits, you can see his web site for recent
developments.The family took their yearly trip to Santa Fe this summer where much time was spent with Mimi and Pop-pop and there was a special visit from Grandma and Grandpa. All together a busy but satisfying year!!!! Happy New Year to all, and thanks for taking the time to look at our little report!! |
